The BHW Pickleball doubles players in game-on mode!

The Blue Heron Woods Pickleball players are off to a great start! Everyone has advanced from their beginning stage and now are playing doubles once or twice a week. It’s a fun game to learn and a great workout. If you’re interested in learning how to play Pickleball or you’re already a seasoned Pickleball player and want to get more court play, please send an email to kpduddy@gmail.com.

Want to play pickleball this summer? We’re asking all BHW residents if anyone would be interested in playing in a BHW Pickleball League. Playing pickleball allows you to enjoy a tennis-like game without putting excessive strains on your body. It’s fun, the rules are straightforward and you can play doubles or singles. Instructions for first time players will be available. Pickleball courts are located in Hawley Park, opposite the Settlers Inn. If you’re looking for more of a workout this summer, we’re also asking all BHW residents if anyone over-50 would be interested in playing half-court basketball. Depending on the level of interest, games would be two on two, times and schedule to be determined by players, and games played at Hawley Park basketball courts.
